AURA wall lamp - Marset

AURA wall lamp designed by Joan Gaspar and manufactured by the Spanish firm of Marset.

A humble glass carafe kept in the designer's retina was the starting point for the design process of the Aura wall lamp. From this traditional object, which for years formed part of the domestic scene, comes this decorative lamp, which not only illuminates well but also shines on the wall when it is switched off. It is an emotional design, because of what the glass means in the collective memory, and a rational and contemporary design, because it ensures that the light source does not weigh down the whole.

The opal, transparent or coloured glass of its shade allows the light to bathe the wall and create a luminous effect without stridency that generates a point of interest in the space.

Aura is available in two sizes: 18 and 25 cm in diameter, to provide lighting solutions for smaller or larger spaces. This light and decisive wall light must be in the right proportion to the interior it is intended to illuminate, and the proportion always depends on the scale.
