GEA pendant lamp designed and manufactured by the Spanish firm of Arturo Álvarez.
The GEA collection takes its name from the primordial goddess, mother earth. The stylised luminaires that comprise it resemble upright female figures that defy verticality, enveloped in a ribbed veil of painted stainless steel mesh. The Gea pendant lamp emits a soft, enveloping light that is evenly distributed throughout the structure. The centrepiece of the collection, which won a Good Design Award in 2007, is the floor lamp, an elegant sculptural volume that blends into any setting, adding a note of distinction to the room.
It has a nickel-satin steel rosette and a cable length of 150cm.
