SKYNEST pendant lamp - Flos

SKYNEST suspension lamp designed by Marcel Wanders and manufactured by the Italian company Flos.

Suspension lamp with diffused light. The dome is the result of a combination of blind and luminous elements arranged to form a network and composed of cores covered in a fine braided tubular mesh of recycled and recyclable dyed fabric derived from polyester. The various luminous elements are powered by special micro-connectors located in the upper part of the dome and are covered with a two-colour mesh whose face towards the inside of the dome is always white, to allow optimum light emission from the LED module. The luminaire is equipped with a balancing system integrated in the upper part of the dome, which allows its balance to be adjusted, making it perfectly stable. The lower part of the dome is completed by an aluminium ring that holds the entire dome's mesh structure in place by means of a simple pressure system. The product is assembled without any glue, so that it can be completely separated to facilitate future recycling and offer the possibility of repairing or replacing components. Lamp finishes available: Tourmaline Blue, Almond, Anthracite or Tile. Plastic rosette painted in the same finish as the lamp and fitted with integrated electronics allowing the use of different dimming systems: 0-10V / 1-10V / DALI.
