FL/Y pendant lamp - Kartell

FL/Y pendant lamp designed by Ferruccio Laviani and manufactured by the Italian company Kartell.

The particular transparency of the material and the brightness of the colours are reminiscent of the sparkles produced by a soap bubble when reflected light falls on it. Moreover, the lampshade is not perfectly hemispherical, but the intersecting plane is below the height of the diameter in order to collect as much light as possible. The lamp is available in three different sizes.

With mass-dyed recycled PMMA material:

Transparent: burgundy, amber, cola, olive green, petrol, clear, cloud blue, orange, yellow, pink or sage green.

Glossy opaque: white or black.

With varnished PMMA material:

Opaque: white outside/black inside or brown outside/black inside.

With metallised PMMA material:

Metallised: chrome exterior/black interior, gold exterior/black interior, copper exterior/black interior.

With solution-dyed recycled PMMA material:

Transparent: clear, orange or sage green.
