HIGH LINE floor lamp designed by Josep Lluís Xuclà and manufactured by the Spanish company Marset.

High Line is visually a sculpture of light, a slender line that emits light without revealing where it comes from. Josep Lluís Xuclà's floor lamp generates indirect light by reflection, with the particularity that it does not bounce off the ceiling but against the wall. The author is interested in the wall being the one that returns the light emitted; it is his great ally and he needs it close by.

Formally, it is a composition of volumes and colours. Three blocks that are distinguished by their shapes and shades: the vertical light-bearing element in oak or wenge is joined to a block of lacquered wood and both stand on the black base. The latter marks the distance where the lamp should be placed, in contact with the wall so that the light is optimal, generating ambient lighting for any space. The sobriety of its forms contrasts with the warmth of the wood and the colours.
