DIPPING LGIHT pendant lamp designed by Jordi Canudas and manufactured by the Spanish company Marset.

When switched on, it is fascinating: its different shades of paint sift the light, creating a magical effect in the atmosphere. When switched off, it transforms into a coloured glass sphere, an object with a great aesthetic charge.

The Dipping Light was born as an experiment - dipping a lit light bulb in paint several times - but it becomes a lamp. The various layers of paint draw concentric circles and trap the light, attenuating its intensity. The paint becomes a shade, colouring the light and giving it texture. This handcrafted process makes each lamp unique and exclusive.

In the pendant version, the Dipping Light strips away everything and keeps to the essentials, the colour becomes the absolute protagonist. This is why the visual effect is fascinating when creating a composition with several lamps. It is available in four different sizes: 12, 20, 30 and a new 40 cm diameter. This new larger size, when lit, proclaims its presence: colour is the message. Its volume has so much solidity and appearance that it fills the space and bathes the room in colour.

The Dipping Light pendant also has the cluster accessory for the 12, 20 and 30 cm diameter sizes and offers the possibility of connecting several pendant lamps at the same time to a single point of light. With it you get absolute freedom to build with light, to illuminate large spaces and to create compositions.
