PU-ERH pendant lamp designed by Xavier Mañosa and manufactured by the Spanish firm Marset.

The uniqueness of the Pu-erh collection consists of using ceramics as a material to achieve a lamp with a textile effect and great delicacy. Xavier Mañosa, designer and ceramist, finds a texture that looks like a fabric, as if it were pleated silk. This finish is what he will apply to a cone-shaped but flatter lampshade, a magnificent support for lighting.

The Pu-erh begins with a hand-drawn, irregular outline, with variations from curve to curve that bring naturalness to the piece. This sketch is transferred to the mould, and this is precisely what is most essential in this collection: the simplicity of the handmade process. The author hardly intervenes, he simply lets it happen, respecting that the marks of the mould coexist with the lamp. Pu-erh is effective because of its great simplicity and innovative because it gives a glimpse of the process.

This suspension collection is available in three sizes of 21, 32 and 42 cm and in a wide range of colours that allow the texture of the ceramic to be appreciated: black, white, blue, burgundy and pink. The light emitted by Pu-erh is warm, plays and bounces inside the lampshade and never disturbs.
