PLEAT BOX ceiling lamp designed by Xavier Mañosa & Mashallah and manufactured by the Spanish firm Marset.

Digitally designing the fall of the textile pleat and applying it to the ceramic material. This is the origin of the Pleat Box lamp, a design that conveys beauty through its material, its shapes and its texture.

Ceramic is a ductile and mouldable material and each lampshade in this collection is handcrafted. Fusing clay with different glazes allows Xavier Mañosa to discover and interpret new light effects. So much so that he plays with two finishes for the inside of the lampshade: enamelled in glossy white to generate sparkles that enrich the light, or in 24-carat gold to generate an extraordinarily warm illumination.

The exterior of the lampshade is available in the collection's classic finishes of white, black, terracotta and grey, to which we have added dark green and ochre. Two new shades that expand the possibilities for combining different sizes, heights and colours. The Pleat Box collection is also available with integrated LED technology, projecting a warm indirect light that avoids glare. A lamp that speaks of respect for craftsmanship, care for ceramics and design ingenuity.
