BOLITA table lamp - Marset

BOLITA table lamp designed by Kaschkasch and manufactured by the Spanish company Marset.

In today's digital age, where shopping is done at the click of a button and reading is done with the swipe of a finger, sometimes we miss something as human as touching - with all its intention. The Bolita lamp invites you to touch the light to modulate it.

Its structure is as simple as it is magical: a round surface that houses an LED on its central axis and a superimposed glass ball that constantly produces the effect of an eclipse as it moves. By moving the Bolita we attenuate or increase the light and this game captivates with its beautiful visual effect.

Bolita wants the user to interact with it. The idea was to design a lamp in which the process of dimming the light was mechanical and not electronic. A technologically innovative design that reclaims the sense of touch.
