VETRA floor lamp designed by Joan Gaspar and manufactured by the Spanish firm Marset.

Vetra could be just a traditional lamp, made of blown glass, but when it is switched on it holds a surprise for us. Joan Gaspar uses a closed glass diffuser as a reflector, with the originality of placing the light source outside the shade instead of inside it. It emits more light than we expect without dazzling us: a large part of it is directed downwards, and the rest filters into the screen, subtly illuminating it. As if there were an echo and the light multiplies, when switched on it shows its entire profile drawn, it seems to be alive.

This collection has been designed for table, suspension and floor in different diameters -20, 32 and 43 cm-. In the table and floor versions, the stem is divided into two unequal parts, a detail that breaks its balance, adding beauty and elegantly resolves the cable exit.
